  • Perform non-invasive vascular testing, including but not limited to ultrasound, Doppler, and plethysmography.
  • Assist with invasive procedures such as angiograms, angioplasties, and stent placements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and patient records.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Educate patients on the procedures and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper maintenance and calibration of equipment.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
  • Keep up-to-date with advancements in technology and techniques in the field of vascular technology.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience and outcomes.
  • Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their comfort and privacy throughout their visit.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude at all times, promoting a positive work environment for colleagues and patients.
  • Comply with all Northwell Health policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
  • Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and trainings to enhance knowledge and skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Vascular Technology Or A Related Field.

  • Registered Vascular Technologist (Rvt) Certification.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Medical Center.

  • Proficiency In Performing Vascular Ultrasound Exams, Including Diagnostic, Non-Invasive Vascular Studies.

  • Knowledge Of Vascular Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathophysiology, As Well As Current Industry Standards And Protocols.
