  1. Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in the Interventional Radiology unit.
  2. Utilize clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Monitor and document patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  5. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
  6. Adhere to all Northwell Health standards, policies, and procedures.
  7. Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  8. Comply with state and federal healthcare regulations.
  9. Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
  10. Continuously strive for professional growth and development by participating in educational opportunities.
  11. Travel to various facilities as assigned and adapt to different work environments.
  12. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Northwell Health positively to patients, families, and colleagues.
  13. Remain up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of Interventional Radiology.
  14. Maintain a positive attitude and work collaboratively with team members.

Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: The Candidate Must Possess An Active Registered Nurse License In The State Of New York, Or Be Willing To Obtain One Prior To Starting The Position.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Interventional Radiology: The Ideal Candidate Will Have At Least Two Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, With A Strong Background In Interventional Radiology Procedures And Techniques.

  • Bls And Acls Certification: The Candidate Must Be Certified In Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls), With Current Cards From The American Heart Association.

  • Strong Communication And Critical Thinking Skills: As A Travel Rn, The Candidate Will Be Working With A Variety Of Patients And Healthcare Professionals, So Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Think Critically Are Essential.

  • Flexibility And Availability For Travel: The Candidate Must Be Willing And Able To Travel To Different Northwell Health Facilities Within The New York Area, As Determined By The Needs Of The Organization.
