  1. Safely transport patients, equipment, and supplies throughout our facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and medical offices.
  2. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare staff to ensure a smooth and comfortable transportation experience.
  3. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during transportation.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
  5. Use various modes of transportation, such as wheelchairs, stretchers, and beds, to assist in patient transport.
  6. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or concerns to the appropriate healthcare staff.
  7. Demonstrate empathy and compassion towards patients and their families, providing support and assistance as needed.
  8. Collaborate with other team members, including nurses, doctors, and administrative staff, to ensure timely and efficient transport services.
  9. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  10. Attend training sessions and stay updated on new procedures and protocols related to patient transport.
  11. Handle any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly and report them to the appropriate department for repair.
  12. Assist with other tasks, such as restocking supplies and completing paperwork, as needed.
  13. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries while on duty.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, representing Northwell Health in a positive light at all times.
  15. Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and provide excellent customer service.

Job Qualifications
  • Valid Driver's License And Clean Driving Record
