Telemetry Technician

1. Monitor and record patients' vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels.
2. Observe and interpret cardiac rhythms on telemetry monitors and report any changes or abnormalities to medical staff.
3. Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate communication of patient information.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with telemetry equipment.
5. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient information and telemetry readings.
6. Respond quickly and appropriately to alarms and alerts on telemetry monitors.
7. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.
8. Continuously monitor and assess patients' condition and report any changes to medical staff.
9. Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families during times of stress and uncertainty.
10. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on the latest practices and techniques in telemetry monitoring.
11. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
12. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines.
14. Act as an advocate for patient safety and quality of care.
