
Surgical Technologist - Certified
As a Surgical Technologist - Certified at Northwell Health, you will be part of a team of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our patients. The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Set up and maintain sterile fields during procedures.
- Assist surgeons and other medical personnel during procedures.
- Ensure that all tools and equipment are in proper working order.
- Monitor patient safety during procedures.
- Adhere to all regulations and standards set forth by Northwell Health and other governing bodies.
- Maintain accurate records of all procedures and patient care activities.
- Participate in continuing education activities to keep abreast of the latest advancements in surgical technology.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure the best possible patient care.
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills
Current Bls Certification
Certified Surgical Technologist (Cst) Certification
Completion Of An Accredited Surgical Technology Program
Previous Experience In A Clinical Or Surgical Setting
Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team
Ability To Effectively Prioritize Tasks
Ability To Comply With Northwell Health Policies And Procedures
