Job Description

Are you an experienced healthcare professional with a passion for driving quality and performance management in the revenue cycle? Northwell Health is seeking a Senior Manager of Revenue Cycle Quality & Performance Management who can lead our team in leveraging innovative strategies to ensure exceptional patient care and financial outcomes.We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue cycle management, with a deep understanding of medical coding, billing, reimbursement, and collections. You should have a strong knowledge of quality and performance improvement strategies, be certified in healthcare quality (CPHQ or equivalent), and have experience with process improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma. A four-year degree in healthcare, business, or a related field is preferred.If you are an organized, detail-oriented leader with an eye for improvement and a heart for providing excellent service to our patients, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a team of revenue cycle professionals in leveraging innovative strategies to ensure exceptional patient care and financial outcomes.
  2. Develop and implement quality and performance improvement strategies.
  3. Monitor and analyze revenue cycle performance and identify areas of improvement.
  4. Utilize process improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma to drive process optimization.
  5. Develop plans and strategies to improve revenue cycle processes.
  6. Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws.
  7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical coding, billing, reimbursement, and collections.
  8. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer service.
  9. Prepare and present reports on performance metrics and improvement initiatives.
  10. Develop and manage budgets related to revenue cycle operations.
