- Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care
- Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to obtain high-quality sonographic images
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient procedures, results, and medical history
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
- Continuously assess and improve upon technical skills and knowledge related to sonography and related procedures
- Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to all Northwell Health policies and procedures
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical behavior at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field
Ardms Certification In One Or More Specialty Areas (E.g. Ob/Gyn, Abdominal, Vascular)
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Sonographer In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Ultrasound Equipment And Techniques, Including 3D/4D Imaging And Doppler Studies
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment.
