  • Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment and techniques to obtain high-quality sonographic images
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient procedures, results, and medical history
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols
  • Continuously assess and improve upon technical skills and knowledge related to sonography and related procedures
  • Participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Adhere to all Northwell Health policies and procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Ardms Certification In One Or More Specialty Areas (E.g. Ob/Gyn, Abdominal, Vascular)

  • Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience As A Sonographer In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Ultrasound Equipment And Techniques, Including 3D/4D Imaging And Doppler Studies

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced Healthcare Environment.
