Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatry

The successful candidate for this position will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and will be responsible for providing specialized nursing care to our psychiatric patients. The ideal candidate will be able to work collaboratively and effectively with a multidisciplinary team and have a passion for providing quality care and support to patients and families.The required qualifications for this position include a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York, a BSN degree from an accredited nursing program, and a minimum of one year of experience in a psychiatric setting. Responsibilities for this Registered Nurse (RN) - Psychiatry include: -Provide specialized nursing care to psychiatric patients -Collaborate and communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team -Provide quality care and support to patients and families -Educate and counsel patients and families -Maintain and update electronic medical records -Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations -Develop and implement individualized treatment plans -Monitor and assess patient progress -Provide emotional and psychological support to patients -Administer and monitor medications -Document patient care and progress
