  1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to critically ill patients in the Medical ICU.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and changes in symptoms.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
  5. Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.
  6. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
  7. Respond to and manage emergency situations in a calm and efficient manner.
  8. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  9. Serve as a patient advocate and address any concerns or complaints promptly.
  10. Continuously update knowledge and skills through participation in educational programs and training opportunities.
  11. Demonstrate professionalism and promote a positive work culture within the Medical ICU.
  12. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
  13. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  14. Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to provide quality patient care.
  15. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall improvement of patient outcomes.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Bls And Acls Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Program

  • Current And Active Rn License In The State Of New York

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Setting, Preferably In A Medical Icu

  • Strong Clinical Assessment And Critical Thinking Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
