Registered Nurse (RN)- Labor & Delivery

1. Provide compassionate and high-quality care to patients in the Labor & Delivery department.
2. Assist in the delivery of newborns and provide support to mothers during their labor.
3. Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their physical and emotional well-being.
4. Administer medication and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
5. Educate and prepare patients and their families for labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to create personalized care plans for patients.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and document all procedures and interactions.
8. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
9. Continuously assess and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
10. Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and their families during the labor and delivery process.
11. Stay up-to-date with current best practices and advancements in the field of maternal and newborn care.
12. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure the best possible outcomes.
13. Handle emergency situations with professionalism and efficiency.
14. Maintain a positive and caring attitude towards patients and their families.
