Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology

As an Interventional Radiology RN, you will be an integral part of our patient care team and will provide direct patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, active NYS RN license, and two years of recent acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting. We are looking for a Registered Nurse with a commitment to excellence and a passion for providing optimal patient care. This position requires excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure the highest quality of patient care.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health.
2. Utilize excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
3. Work independently and collaboratively to ensure the highest quality of patient care.
4. Develop and implement patient care plans.
5. Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
6. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
7. Educate patients and families about health maintenance and disease management.
8. Assist physicians with procedures.
9. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings.
10. Act as a patient advocate.
