  1. Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU department.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement appropriate care plans.
  3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  4. Monitor and document patients' vital signs and response to treatments.
  5. Educate patients and their families on the care plan and any necessary follow-up instructions.
  6. Ensure patient safety and comfort by following established protocols and procedures.
  7. Remain current on advancements in critical care treatments and techniques.
  8. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to patient care.
  9. Adhere to all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
  10. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
  11. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  13. Act as an advocate for patients and their families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
  14. Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times.
  15. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times.
  16. Demonstrate excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of New York

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Intensive Care Unit (Icu) Setting

  • Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment
