Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Is Typically Required For Rn Positions In A Coronary Care Unit (Ccu) At Northwell Health. This Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Care For Patients With Cardiovascular Conditions.
Current Rn License: All Candidates Must Hold A Current And Active Rn License In The State Of New York. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Met The State's Requirements For Education And Competency And Is Legally Able To Practice As A Registered Nurse.
Acls Certification: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certification Is Required For Rns Working In The Ccu At Northwell Health. This Certification Demonstrates The Nurse's Ability To Respond To And Manage Cardiac Emergencies, Which Is Essential In A Unit That Specializes In Caring For Patients With Heart Conditions.
Experience In Critical Care: Previous Experience Working In A Critical Care Setting, Such As An Intensive Care Unit Or A Ccu, Is Preferred For Rn Positions At Northwell Health.
