Registered Nurse (RN) Ambulatory Surgery

Responsibilities:

1. Provide excellent patient care in an ambulatory surgery setting, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
2. Assess patient needs and provide appropriate medical and/or nursing interventions.
3. Administer medications, evaluate patient reactions, and document patient progress.
4. Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
5. Participate in continuous quality improvement projects and initiatives.
6. Maintain current knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
7. Maintain patient and family confidentiality.
8. Monitor and maintain adequate levels of supplies and equipment.
9. Participate in patient and family education.
10. Follow established safety protocols and infection control procedures.
