Registered Nurse - Pediatric Resource Team

The Registered Nurse – Pediatric Resource Team is responsible for providing direct care to pediatric patients as well as assessing, planning, and implementing patient care plans. This position requires a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, a valid New York State RN license, and at least three years of recent acute care nursing experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a strong commitment to delivering compassionate patient care. Responsibilities:

1. Assess, plan, and implement patient care plans for pediatric patients
2. Provide direct, compassionate care to pediatric patients
3. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
4. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal care
5. Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
6. Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with standards of care
7. Educate and support patients and families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance
8. Participate in quality improvement activities and patient safety initiatives
9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures
10. Demonstrate commitment to patient-centered care and customer service
