Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Responsibilities:

1. Provide high quality nursing care to mothers and newborns in the Labor and Delivery unit.
2. Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of patients.
3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, midwives and nurses.
4. Monitor and assess patient progress throughout labor and delivery.
5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure they are receiving the best care possible.
6. Maintain patient records in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
7. Perform any additional duties as assigned by the nursing supervisor.
8. Respond quickly and effectively to any medical emergencies.
9. Participate in continuing education programs to stay up-to-date on best practices in Labor and Delivery nursing.
10. Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development.
