- Provide exceptional healthcare services to patients in the Delivery Room.
- Serve as a vital member of the labor and delivery team.
- Assist in the delivery of newborns and support mothers during the labor process.

Valid Rn License: A Qualified Candidate For The Registered Nurse- Delivery Room Position At Northwell Health Must Possess A Valid And Current Rn License In The State Of New York.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: Northwell Health Prefers Candidates Who Hold A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution. This Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Education And Specialized Training In The Field Of Nursing.
Prior Experience In Labor And Delivery: Previous Experience Working In A Delivery Room Setting Is Highly Desired For This Position. Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Labor And Delivery, Preferably Within A Hospital Or Birthing Center.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Registered Nurse In The Delivery Room, Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Crucial For Building Relationships With Patients, Their Families, And The Healthcare Team. Candidates Should Be Able To Communicate Clearly And Compassionately, And Work Well In A Team-Oriented Environment.
Knowledge Of Obstetric Care And Procedures: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Obstetric Care And Procedures, Including Fetal Monitoring, Labor Stages, And Postpartum Care. They Should Also Be Familiar With Common Complications And Emergencies That Can Arise During Labor And Delivery.
