Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For A Registered Nurse Position At Northwell Health. This Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Provide High-Quality Care To Adult Med/Surg Patients.
Current Rn License In The State Of New York: Candidates Must Hold A Valid And Current Rn License In The State Of New York. This Demonstrates That The Individual Has Met The State's Requirements For Education And Training And Is Authorized To Practice As A Nurse.
Bcls Certification: Basic Cardiac Life Support (Bcls) Certification Is Required For All Rn Positions At Northwell Health. This Certification Ensures That The Nurse Is Trained In Critical Life-Saving Techniques, Such As Cpr And First Aid.
Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Adult Med/Surg: Northwell Health Prefers Candidates Who Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience In Adult Med/Surg Nursing. This Demonstrates The Nurse's Proficiency In Managing The Complex Needs Of Adult Patients In A Medical-Surgical Setting.
