Job Description

At Northwell Health, we are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. Our Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing high quality and accurate imaging procedures in order to diagnose and treat illnesses. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of medical imaging equipment and be able to accurately interpret patient images.The ideal candidate for this position must have a degree or certificate in Radiologic Technology and be certified and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). In addition, the Radiology Technologist must have the ability to operate imaging equipment and to work independently in order to provide patient care. A compassionate and patient-focused attitude is essential to this role, as is the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate imaging equipment to capture patient images
  2. Analyze and interpret patient images accurately
  3. Provide patient care in a compassionate and patient-focused manner
  4. Maintain certification and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  5. Ensure that imaging procedures are performed with high quality and accuracy
  6. Remain up-to-date with the latest advances in medical imaging
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
  8. Follow established protocols and safety guidelines when performing imaging procedures
  9. Ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging procedures
  10. Maintain a clean and organized workplace
