Quality Management & Performance Improvement Coordinator

- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans
- Monitor and analyze data to track progress and identify areas for further improvement
- Provide training and support to staff on quality improvement processes and tools
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
- Serve as a resource for staff and management on quality improvement best practices
- Facilitate and participate in quality improvement committees and meetings
- Communicate and disseminate quality improvement initiatives and outcomes to relevant stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to quality management and performance improvement
- Proactively identify and address potential quality issues and risks
- Serve as a liaison between Northwell Health and external quality organizations, ensuring compliance with standards and requirements.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Quality Management And Performance Improvement In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Quality Improvement Methodologies, Such As Lean Six Sigma Or Pdsa.
Strong Analytical Skills And Experience With Data Collection, Analysis, And Reporting.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Provide Education And Training On Quality Improvement Initiatives.
