  3. Write and distribute press releases, media pitches, and other materials to secure positive coverage for Northwell Health.
  4. Serve as a spokesperson for Northwell Health, effectively communicating the organization's mission, values, and initiatives to the public.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and capitalize on media opportunities to showcase Northwell Health's services, programs, and achievements.
  6. Monitor and analyze media coverage, providing regular reports and insights to inform future strategies.
  7. Assist in crisis communication efforts, ensuring timely and accurate messaging to the public.
  8. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, including key trends, competitors, and regulations.
  9. Plan and coordinate media events, such as press conferences, interviews, and media tours.
  10. Contribute to the development of Northwell Health's overall communication and marketing strategy.
  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, social media, and community relations, to ensure cohesive and consistent messaging.
  12. Stay updated on industry best practices and innovative tactics to continuously improve Northwell Health's public relations efforts.
  13. Represent Northwell Health at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities.
  14. Assist in the management of the public relations budget, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  15. Act as a brand ambassador for Northwell Health, promoting the organization's values and initiatives both internally and externally.
  16. Support and contribute to other communication initiatives as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Public Relations Or Communications, Preferably In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Demonstrated Understanding Of Media Relations And Experience In Pitching Stories To Local And National Media Outlets.

  • Strong Writing And Editing Skills, With The Ability To Create Press Releases, Articles, And Other Written Materials.

  • Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Represent The Organization And Build Relationships With Media Contacts And Stakeholders.
