  1. Conduct patient assessments and obtain accurate medical histories under the supervision of a physician.
  2. Administer diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  3. Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiac conditions.
  4. Provide direct patient care, including prescribing medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient progress.
  5. Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current research and advancements in the field of Cardiology.
  8. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient cases and develop treatment plans.
  9. Adhere to all medical and ethical standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and contribute to a positive patient experience.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated patient care.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of cardiac care.
  13. Maintain a high level of professionalism and act as a role model for other healthcare professionals.
  14. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  15. Attend required trainings and continue to develop professional knowledge and skills.
  16. Recruit and train new team members as needed.
  17. Represent the organization and its values in a positive and professional manner.
  18. Participate in community outreach and education initiatives to promote cardiac health and wellness.
  19. Act as a resource for patients, families, and other healthcare professionals regarding cardiac care.
  20. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising physician or organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification From The National Commission On Certification Of Physician Assistants (Nccpa).

  • Master's Degree In Physician Assistant Studies From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Pa In A Cardiology Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiology Procedures, Treatments, And Medications.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Team Of Healthcare Professionals.
