  1. Dispensing Medications: The Pharmacist will be responsible for accurately and efficiently dispensing medications to patients in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations.
  2. Patient Consultations: As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Pharmacist will be responsible for providing patient consultations and counseling on proper medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  3. Medication Management: The Pharmacist will be responsible for managing medication therapy for patients, including monitoring medication effectiveness, dosage adjustments, and potential changes in therapy.
  4. Inventory Management: The Pharmacist will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining adequate inventory levels of medications, supplies, and equipment, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
  5. Quality Assurance: The Pharmacist will be responsible for performing quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and safety of all medications dispensed.
  6. Collaborate with Healthcare Team: The Pharmacist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients, including physicians, nurses, and other pharmacists.
  7. Patient Education: The Pharmacist will be responsible for providing patient education on medication use, disease management, and healthy lifestyle choices to promote positive health outcomes.
  8. Adhere to Regulatory Standards: The Pharmacist will ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, regulations, and organizational policies and procedures related to pharmaceutical care.
  9. Continuous Professional Development: The Pharmacist will stay updated on new medications, treatments, and best practices in the field through continuing education and professional development opportunities.
  10. Customer Service: The Pharmacist will provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have and ensuring a positive experience at our pharmacy.
  11. Maintain Accurate Records: The Pharmacist will maintain accurate and complete records of all medications dispensed and patient interactions in accordance with legal and organizational requirements.
  12. Perform Other Duties as Assigned: The Pharmacist may be assigned additional duties and responsibilities by their supervisor to support the overall goals and objectives of the pharmacy and healthcare

Job Qualifications
  • A Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy Program.

  • A Valid State Pharmacist License And Registration In The State Of New York.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working As A Pharmacist In A Retail Or Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Pharmacy Laws And Regulations, Including Medicare And Medicaid Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Healthcare Providers And Patients.
