Responsibilities:

1. Provide assistance to clinical staff in operating room settings.
2. Perform tasks as assigned by the clinical staff, including setting up and breaking down operating rooms, sterilizing equipment and instruments, and ensuring that supplies are stocked.
3. Greet and escort patients and visitors to the operating room.
4. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
5. Maintain accurate records and logs of patient information and activities in the operating room.
6. Communicate effectively with patients, visitors, and medical staff.
7. Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
8. Follow all safety protocols and regulations.
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
10. Adhere to Northwell Health's policies and procedures.
