  1. Safely transport patients to and from various locations within the facility, including but not limited to patient rooms, diagnostic testing areas, and surgical suites.
  2. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient transport activities, including patient name, destination, and time of transport.
  3. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a smooth and timely transport process.
  4. Adhere to established infection control protocols to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
  5. Follow all safety procedures and protocols while operating patient transport equipment, including wheelchairs, stretchers, and carts.
  6. Collaborate with nursing and other healthcare staff to ensure timely and efficient patient flow throughout the facility.
  7. Display a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and their families, providing support and assistance as needed.
  8. Proactively identify and report any issues or concerns related to patient transport, equipment, or safety to the appropriate personnel.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain knowledge of best practices and procedures related to patient transport.
  10. Maintain a professional and positive demeanor at all times, representing the organization in a positive manner to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
