1. Safely transport patients to and from various locations within the facility, such as exam rooms, testing areas, and treatment rooms.
2. Utilize proper body mechanics and equipment to ensure the safety and comfort of the patient during transport.
3. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, as well as with other healthcare professionals, to ensure a positive and efficient patient experience.
4. Maintain accurate documentation of patient transport activities, including patient information and transport times.
5. Collaborate with nursing staff and other team members to prioritize and coordinate patient transport needs.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including equipment and patient transport areas.
7. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
8. Participate in training and education programs to ensure knowledge of and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
9. Provide exceptional customer service to all patients and visitors, addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
10. Adhere to all Northwell Health policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements, to ensure the highest level of patient care and safety.
