  1. Ensure patient safety: The primary responsibility of a Patient Safety Associate is to ensure the safety and well-being of all patients. This includes identifying and addressing potential safety hazards and taking preventive measures to minimize risk.
  2. Follow safety protocols: As a Patient Safety Associate, you will be expected to strictly adhere to all safety protocols and procedures established by the organization. This includes following infection control measures, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and reporting any safety concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  3. Participate in NA training program: This role will require participation in the Northwell Health NA Training Program, which will provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel in your role as a Patient Safety Associate. Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Patient Safety Associate Must Have A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent To Be Considered For The Na Training Program At Northwell Health.

  • Cpr Certification: Applicants Must Possess A Current Cpr Certification To Be Considered For The Position Of Patient Safety Associate. This Ensures That They Are Trained In Emergency Response Techniques And Can Provide Immediate Assistance If Needed.

  • Prior Experience In Healthcare: Northwell Health Prefers Candidates Who Have Prior Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Such As A Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant, Or Patient Care Technician. This Experience Demonstrates A Familiarity With Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Equipment.

  • Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Patient Safety Associate, The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Families, And Healthcare Professionals Is Vital.
