  1. Manage and maintain patient accounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing and payment processes.
  2. Respond to patient inquiries and concerns regarding their accounts with professionalism and empathy.
  3. Collaborate with insurance companies and other third-party payers to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
  4. Review and analyze patient financial records to identify and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors.
  5. Utilize electronic medical records and billing systems to document and track patient information and financial transactions.
  6. Work closely with healthcare providers and other internal departments to ensure accurate and complete billing and coding.
  7. Educate patients on their insurance coverage and financial responsibilities, providing clear and concise explanations.
  8. Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
  9. Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on industry changes and best practices.
  10. Proactively identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of billing and collections.
  11. Act as a liaison between patients and the organization, promoting a positive and welcoming environment for all.
  12. Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  13. Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and patient satisfaction.
  14. Meet performance metrics and goals set by the organization, including timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  15. Maintain a professional and positive attitude in all interactions with patients, coworkers, and other stakeholders.
