  • Greet and welcome patients and their families with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and empathetic manner
  • Ensure accurate and efficient patient registration and scheduling by collecting and verifying patient information
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all HIPAA guidelines
  • Collaborate with other departments to coordinate patient appointments and ensure smooth patient flow
  • Educate patients on Northwell Health services and assist with any necessary paperwork or forms
  • Handle payment transactions and assist with insurance verification and authorization processes
  • Handle phone calls and emails from patients and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote a positive and welcoming atmosphere
  • Attend trainings and stay updated on Northwell Health policies, procedures, and services
  • Continuously strive to improve patient satisfaction and actively seek out ways to enhance the patient experience
  • Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff
