- Coordinate and oversee the communication and dispatch of emergency medical services for Northwell Health.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with emergency responders, hospital staff, and other relevant parties.
- Monitor and evaluate emergency calls to determine the appropriate level of response and dispatch resources accordingly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emergency response protocols and procedures.
- Train and educate emergency responders on communication protocols and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure efficient and effective emergency response.

- Provide support and guidance to emergency responders during high-stress and critical situations.

Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Certification: A Paramedic Communications Coordinator At Northwell Health Should Hold A Current Emt Certification, As This Demonstrates A Strong Foundation Of Knowledge And Skills In Emergency Medical Services.
