  1. Provide exceptional patient care: As a PACU Registered Nurse, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional care to patients recovering from surgery. This includes monitoring their vital signs, managing pain and discomfort, and ensuring their overall well-being.

  5. Monitor and document patient progress: It is crucial to monitor and document the progress of patients in the PACU. This includes recording vital signs, assessing pain levels, and documenting any changes in the patient's condition.
  6. Educate patients and their families: As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will also play a crucial role in educating patients and their families on post-operative care. This may involve providing instructions on wound care, pain management, and medication administration.
  7. Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures: In a healthcare setting, safety and infection control are of the utmost importance. You will be responsible for adhering to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure the well-being of our patients and staff.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records: Accurate and up-to-date patient records are essential for providing quality care. As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for maintaining these records and ensuring they are complete and accurate.

Job Qualifications
  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.

  • Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications.

  • Current Rn License In New York State.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Pacu Or Critical Care Nursing.

  • Strong Clinical And Critical Thinking Skills.
