Nurse Anesthetist Fellow

1. Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations on patients to determine their suitability for anesthesia and identify any potential risks or complications.
2. Collaborate with anesthesiologists to develop and implement an appropriate anesthesia plan for each patient.
3. Administer anesthesia to patients during surgical procedures, monitoring their vital signs and adjusting anesthesia levels as needed.
4. Monitor patients post-anesthesia to ensure they are recovering safely and comfortably.
5. Assist in the management of acute and chronic pain, including the administration of regional and epidural anesthesia.
6. Utilize advanced nursing skills and knowledge to provide safe and effective anesthesia care to patients of all ages and backgrounds.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including anesthesia administration, patient response, and any complications or adverse reactions.
8. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with advancements in anesthesia techniques and technologies.
9. Demonstrate excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure a positive and collaborative care experience.
10. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for patients and staff.
11. Contribute to quality improvement efforts by participating in data collection and analysis, and implementing process improvements.
12. Act as a mentor and resource for other healthcare team members, including students and new staff, to promote a culture of learning and development.
