At Northwell Health, we are searching for an experienced and dedicated Monitor Technician - Telemetry to join our patient care team. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic and caring team of professionals, dedicated to providing a high level of care to our patients.The Monitor Technician - Telemetry will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing cardiac rhythms and providing patient care and support. To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will have current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, prior experience in a healthcare setting, and strong critical thinking and communication skills. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care, and the ability to work with a variety of healthcare partners.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a positive contribution to patient care in a leading healthcare organization. Responsibilities of a Monitor Technician - Telemetry:

  1. Monitor and analyze cardiac rhythms and provide patient care and support.
  2. Maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  3. Utilize strong critical thinking and communication skills.
  4. Demonstrate a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  5. Work with a variety of healthcare partners.
  6. Provide a high level of patient care.
  7. Maintain patient confidentiality.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
  9. Document patient care activities.
  10. Educate patients and family members on cardiac monitoring.
