  1. Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  2. Record and document all cardiac rhythms accurately and in a timely manner.
  3. Notify appropriate medical personnel of any abnormal rhythms or changes in a patient's condition.
  4. Set up and maintain monitoring equipment, troubleshoot any technical issues, and report any malfunctions or needed repairs.
  5. Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive and effective patient care.
  6. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  7. Continuously monitor and assess patient data to identify any potential issues or changes in condition.
  8. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and stored.
  9. Attend and actively participate in team meetings and trainings to stay updated on new protocols and procedures.
  10. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, answering any questions or concerns and addressing any issues that may arise.
  11. Follow all hospital policies and procedures, including infection control and safety protocols.
  12. Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accurately report any changes or abnormalities in patient cardiac rhythms.
  13. Act as a resource and mentor for new staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
  14. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth, and actively participate in performance evaluations and goal-setting.
  15. Embrace a culture of continuous improvement and actively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Certification In Basic Cardiac Life Support (Bcls)

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Rhythms And Ability To Recognize Abnormal Readings

  • Experience With Ekg Interpretation And Telemetry Monitoring Equipment

  • Proficiency In Computer Skills And Ability To Document Accurately In Electronic Medical Records

  • Excellent Communication And Teamwork Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Healthcare Professionals And Patients
