  1. Oversee the financial operations of Northwell Health, ensuring efficient and timely revenue collection.
  2. Develop and implement revenue cycle strategies and processes to optimize financial performance.
  3. Monitor and analyze revenue cycle performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies related to revenue cycle management.
  5. Manage and lead a team of revenue cycle professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality work and professional development.
  6. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and resolve revenue cycle issues and improve overall financial processes.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with payers and other external partners to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement.
  8. Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle processes and regulations, providing guidance and support to other departments as needed.
  9. Develop and maintain revenue cycle policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and in line with industry best practices.
  10. Participate in budgeting and financial planning processes, providing insights and recommendations based on revenue cycle performance.
  11. Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and address any potential revenue cycle issues.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in regulations related to revenue cycle management.
  13. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, including executives, to provide updates on revenue cycle performance and address any concerns.
  14. Act as a liaison between Northwell Health and external auditors or regulatory agencies regarding revenue cycle matters.
  15. Continuously strive for process improvement and innovation to enhance revenue cycle performance and efficiency.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Revenue Cycle Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Healthcare Billing And Coding Regulations, Including Hipaa And Medicare/Medicaid Guidelines.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Proven Experience In Managing A Team Of Revenue Cycle Staff.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multiple Departments And Stakeholders.
