  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Nutrition & Dietetics department.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high quality and efficient services.
  3. Lead and manage a team of nutrition professionals, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  4. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional growth.
  5. Develop and maintain relationships with other departments and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated and integrated care for patients.
  6. Monitor and analyze department performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for enhanced patient care.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in nutrition and dietetics, and incorporate best practices into department operations.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards related to nutrition and dietetics.
  9. Provide guidance and support to staff regarding complex patient cases, and assist with developing individualized nutrition plans.
  10. Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to promote and raise awareness of the Nutrition & Dietetics department and its services.
  11. Conduct regular staff meetings and trainings to ensure all team members are informed and knowledgeable about department updates and procedures.
  12. Maintain accurate and organized records, including patient charts and department financials.
  13. Serve as a resource for patients and their families, answering questions and addressing any concerns related to nutrition and dietetics.
  14. Participate in budget planning and ensure efficient use of department resources.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve department processes to enhance the patient experience and overall department performance.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential From The Commission On Dietetic Registration.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Management Or Supervisory Role In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Clinical Nutrition And Dietetics Principles, As Well As Current Trends And Research In The Field.

  • Excellent Communication, Leadership, And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals.
