  1. Oversee the overall management and maintenance of Northwell Health facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and administrative buildings.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans for facility maintenance and improvements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  3. Oversee the budget and financial planning for facility operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and cost-effectiveness.
  4. Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  5. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to facility management, safety, and environmental standards.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality and timely completion of facility projects.
  7. Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify any maintenance or safety issues and take appropriate corrective action.
  8. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure seamless operations and efficient use of facilities.
  9. Develop and maintain emergency preparedness plans for all facilities to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
  10. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in facilities management and make recommendations for improvement or implementation.
  11. Serve as a liaison between Northwell Health and external stakeholders, such as government agencies and community organizations, regarding facility-related matters.
  12. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including senior leadership, to provide updates on facility operations and address any concerns or issues.
  13. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence within the facilities management team.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Facilities Management, Engineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Facilities Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team Of Facilities Staff.

  • Knowledge Of Local And State Regulations Related To Building And Safety Codes.

  • Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Handle Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
