Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Learning and Organizational Development Educator at Northwell Health.   1. Develop and implement comprehensive learning and development programs for employees at all levels within the organization.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify training needs and design targeted learning solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
  3. Utilize adult learning principles to create engaging and interactive training materials and delivery methods.
  4. Deliver training sessions and facilitate workshops, using a variety of techniques to ensure maximum learning and retention.
  5. Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
  6. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in learning and development, incorporating new techniques and technologies into training programs.
  7. Foster a culture of continuous learning by promoting and encouraging participation in training and development opportunities.
  8. Act as a subject matter expert on learning and development topics, providing guidance and support to managers and employees.
  9. Collaborate with external vendors and consultants to source relevant training materials and resources.
  10. Contribute to the development and maintenance of learning and development policies, procedures, and standards.
  11. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to promote the value of learning and development initiatives and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of training activities and employee progress.
  13. Serve as a role model for continuous learning and professional development, actively seeking out opportunities to enhance personal skills and knowledge.
  14. Uphold the values and mission of Northwell Health in all interactions and activities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Learning And Organizational Development, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Facilitation And Presentation Skills With The Ability To Engage And Educate Diverse Audiences.

  • Knowledge Of Adult Learning Principles And Instructional Design Methodologies.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders And Build Relationships Across Departments.
