- Assist in the delivery of exceptional care to mothers and newborns during labor and delivery procedures.
- Maintain a strong understanding of labor and delivery procedures and protocols.
- Utilize specialized equipment and techniques to support mothers during labor and delivery.
- Monitor and document vital signs and other important medical information.
- Anticipate and respond to the needs of mothers and newborns during the labor and delivery process.
- Prepare and maintain patient rooms and equipment for labor and delivery procedures.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure a positive birthing experience for patients and their families.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to mothers and their families during labor and delivery.
- Follow proper infection control and safety protocols at all times.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy at all times.
- Demonstrate a compassionate and caring attitude towards patients and their families.
- Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and preferences are addressed.

- Assist with postpartum care and newborn assessments as needed.
