  1. Provide exceptional care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
  3. Monitor and assess patients' conditions, including vital signs, lab results, and changes in symptoms.
  4. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  5. Utilize critical thinking skills to anticipate and respond to potential complications.
  6. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members to provide education and support.
  8. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on the latest advancements in critical care.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and respect towards patients and their families.
  11. Advocate for patients' rights and ensure they receive the highest quality of care.
  12. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a seamless transition of care for patients.
  13. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  14. Adhere to the hospital's policies and procedures.
  15. Serve as a role model for other staff members and support a positive work environment.
  16. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.
  17. Attend team meetings and contribute to discussions and decision-making processes.
  18. Provide support and guidance to less experienced staff members.
  19. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
  20. Continuously strive to provide the best possible care to patients and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Rn License In The State Of New York.

  • Bls And Acls Certification.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Hospital Setting, Preferably In An Icu Unit.

  • Strong Critical Thinking And Problem-Solving Skills.

  • Knowledge Of Advanced Equipment And Procedures Commonly Used In An Icu Setting, Such As Ventilators, Hemodynamic Monitoring, And Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy.
