Infection Prevention Specialist

3. Monitor and analyze infection control data, including surveillance of communicable diseases and environmental conditions, and develop strategies to reduce the risk of infection.
4. Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure compliance with infection control standards.
5. Educate staff and patients on proper infection control practices.
6. Monitor and evaluate staff performance to ensure infection control protocols are followed.
7. Develop and implement new strategies to improve patient outcomes.
8. Research and stay up to date on emerging trends and best practices in infection control.
9. Identify potential areas of risk and recommend corrective actions.
10. Provide technical assistance in the evaluation and selection of infection control products and practices.
