- Plan and facilitate workshops, seminars, and other educational events to engage and educate community members.
- Conduct individual and group health education sessions to address specific health concerns and provide resources for healthy lifestyle choices.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, and other stakeholders to promote health education initiatives.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of health education programs and make recommendations for improvements.
- Serve as a resource for patients and community members by providing information and referrals to relevant healthcare services.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of health education activities and outcomes.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards related to health education and patient confidentiality.
- Stay informed and comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to health education.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of health education.
Bachelor's Degree Or Higher In Health Education, Public Health, Or A Related Field.
Certified Health Education Specialist (Ches) Credential From The National Commission For Health Education Credentialing (Nchec).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Health Education Or Related Field, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Knowledge Of Current Health Education Theories, Principles, And Best Practices.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Engage Diverse Populations.
