  1. Provide support to the emergency room staff in delivering high-quality care to patients.
  2. Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
  3. Perform basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and administering medications as directed by medical staff.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  6. Monitor and report changes in patient conditions to the appropriate medical staff.
  7. Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly stocked and maintained.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  9. Participate in continuous education and training to maintain and improve skills and knowledge.
  10. Remain calm and efficient in high-stress situations.
  11. Collaborate with other team members to provide efficient and effective patient care.
  12. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  13. Perform other duties as assigned by the emergency room manager.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Certification As An Emergency Medical Technician (Emt) Or Certified Nursing Assistant (Cna).

  • Minimum Of 1 Year Experience Working In An Emergency Room Setting.

  • Proficient In Basic Medical Procedures Such As Taking Vital Signs, Performing Ekgs, And Assisting With Minor Procedures.

  • Strong Communication Skills And Ability To Handle High-Stress Situations.

  • Knowledge Of Emergency Protocols And Procedures, As Well As Familiarity With Medical Equipment And Supplies Commonly Used In The Er.
