  1. Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  2. Utilize clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  3. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and individualized care for patients.
  4. Monitor and document patient progress, changes in condition, and response to treatment.
  5. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  6. Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care to stabilize patients.
  7. Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment plan, and self-care techniques.
  8. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
  9. Maintain accurate and complete patient records.
  10. Continuously strive to improve patient outcomes and promote a culture of patient-centered care.
  11. Stay updated on current best practices and advancements in emergency medicine.
  12. Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced nurses.
  13. Participate in unit and hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives.
  14. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to ensure a positive and collaborative work environment.
  15. Adhere to ethical and professional standards of nursing practice at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution

  • Bls, Acls, And Pals Certifications

  • Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of New York

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Acute Care Setting, Preferably In An Emergency Department

  • Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Healthcare Team Members And Emergency Department Staff.
