Job Description

  1. Conduct EEG procedures: Perform EEG tests on patients using specialized equipment and techniques, ensuring accuracy and precision in data collection.
  2. Assist in neurological diagnosis: Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely results for the diagnosis and treatment of neurological disorders.
  3. Utilize cutting-edge technology: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in EEG technology and techniques, and apply them in daily practice to enhance patient care.
  4. Maintain equipment and supplies: Ensure all equipment and supplies used for EEG procedures are properly maintained, calibrated, and stocked for efficient and effective use.
  5. Educate patients: Communicate with patients about the EEG procedure, address any concerns or questions, and provide instructions for pre-and post-test care.
  6. Record and analyze data: Accurately record and analyze EEG data, and prepare comprehensive reports for physicians to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  7. Follow safety protocols: Adhere to strict safety protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff during EEG procedures.
  8. Collaborate with healthcare team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and technicians, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care to patients.
  9. Maintain documentation: Complete and maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all EEG procedures and patient information.
  10. Continuously improve processes: Identify areas for improvement in EEG procedures and processes, and make recommendations for enhancing efficiency and quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Neuroscience, Biology, Or Medical Technology.

  • Certification As An Eeg Technician Through The American Board Of Registration Of Electroencephalographic And Evoked Potential Technologists (Abret).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Eegs In A Clinical Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Eeg Equipment And Software, Including Experience With Digital Eeg Recording And Analysis Systems.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Patients, Medical Staff, And Other Healthcare Professionals Effectively.
