  1. Perform EEG procedures and accurately record and monitor brain activity in patients with neurological disorders.
  2. Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
  3. Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment to ensure accurate readings and proper functioning.
  4. Educate patients and their families on the procedure and answer any questions or concerns.
  5. Ensure patient comfort and safety during the EEG procedure.
  6. Monitor patient responses and make adjustments to equipment as needed.
  7. Keep detailed and accurate records of EEG readings and patient information.
  8. Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
  9. Stay up-to-date on the latest EEG technology and procedures to provide the best care to patients.
  10. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to provide exceptional patient care.
  11. Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
  12. Assist in the training and supervision of new EEG technicians.
  13. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor at all times, especially when dealing with patients who may be anxious or uncomfortable.
  15. Adhere to all hospital and departmental policies and procedures to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  16. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  17. Handle any equipment malfunctions or technical difficulties quickly and efficiently.
  18. Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  19. Attend and participate in departmental meetings and trainings.
  20. Continuously seek opportunities to improve skills and knowledge in order to provide the best possible care for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Neuroscience, Biology, Or A Related Field

  • Certification As An Eeg Technician From A Recognized Institution

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Performing Eeg Procedures In A Clinical Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Eeg Equipment, Procedures, And Data Analysis

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Patients And Healthcare Professionals.
