Echocardiography Technologist

This position requires an individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and physicians. We are seeking a candidate who is eager to join our team and make a positive contribution to our organization.The successful candidate will need to possess a minimum of an Associate's degree in Cardiovascular Technology or related field. A Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) is also required. In addition, the candidate must have at least one year of relevant experience in echocardiography. The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as the ability to exercise judgment and work independently.

Responsibilities: • Provide echocardiography services to patients according to established protocols • Follow patient safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment for all patients • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and related diagnostic instruments • Record and analyze data from echocardiograms and other tests • Prepare and interpret images and data for physicians and other medical personnel • Maintain patient records and ensure accurate and timely documentation • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care • Provide patient education and counseling regarding cardiac health and lifestyle modifications • Participate in continuing education activities and maintain knowledge of current technology in echocardiography
