- Register and admit patients for diagnostic imaging services in an accurate and timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families by welcoming them and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Utilize strong communication skills to gather and record patient information, including personal and insurance information.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a smooth admission process for patients.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail when inputting patient information into registration and billing systems.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines to ensure patient confidentiality.
- Utilize organizational skills to manage a high volume of patient registrations and admissions.
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely processing of patient insurance information.

- Stay up-to-date on all Northwell Health policies and procedures related to patient registration and admissions.

Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Verification, And Billing Processes.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Registration Or Patient Access.
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.
