As a Development Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our fundraising efforts and helping to secure vital resources for our healthcare organization.   1. Assist in planning and executing fundraising events and campaigns.
  2. Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor and prospect records in the development database.
  3. Process and acknowledge donations in a timely and accurate manner.
  4. Coordinate donor stewardship activities, including thank you notes and recognition efforts.
  5. Conduct research on potential donors and assist in creating donor profiles.
  6. Assist in creating and distributing fundraising materials and communications.
  7. Collaborate with the development team to develop and implement fundraising strategies.
  8. Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, preparing materials, and managing correspondence.
  9. Help to identify and cultivate new donor relationships.
  10. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to ensure successful fundraising efforts.
  11. Attend meetings and events to represent the organization and promote fundraising goals.
  12. Stay informed on current fundraising trends and techniques to continually improve fundraising efforts.
  13. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards regarding donor information and confidentiality.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with donors, volunteers, and colleagues.
  15. Other duties as assigned by the Development Director.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field, Such As Business Administration, Communications, Or Nonprofit Management.

  • Previous Experience In Fundraising Or Development, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Nonprofit Setting.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Donors And Stakeholders.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail, With The Ability To Manage Multiple Projects And Deadlines.

  • Knowledge Of Fundraising Software And Databases, As Well As Proficiency In Microsoft Office And Google Suite.
