
Clinical Laboratory Technologist
Northwell Health is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of laboratory technology and processes, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.The Clinical Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and analyses in order to provide accurate and timely results. This individual will work collaboratively with other laboratory personnel to ensure the highest quality of care for our patients.The successful candidate for this role must have a bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field, as well as a minimum of two years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting. A strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team environment are essential. The ability to remain organized, multi-task, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are also important qualities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and analyses to produce accurate and timely results.
- Ensure the highest quality of care for patients by working collaboratively with other laboratory personnel.
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all laboratory procedures.
- Remain organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Consult with healthcare providers and other laboratory personnel to ensure the accuracy of laboratory results.
- Stay current with laboratory technology and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and logs of laboratory tests and results.
- Adhere to safety regulations and protocols in the laboratory.
- Participate in continuing education and training opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.
Computer Proficiency
Bachelor's Degree In Clinical Laboratory Science
Medical Technology Or Related Field
Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Clt) Certification
At Least Three Years Of Clinical Laboratory Experience
Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety Guidelines And Regulations
Ability To Maintain Quality Control Standards
